Visions of a dire future have plagued Princess Zehra for years. Although her father has prepared for an attack, the invading force is larger, stronger, and filled with magic. As her father and brothers march to war, Zehra must try to change the increasingly terrifying futures she sees. It soon becomes clear what she can change, what she can't, and that she's the one who must make the right choice.

Queen Zehra
As an oracle, Zehra has learned to hide her ability. At best, discovery would mean being forced from her family to serve the emperor. More likely . . . she would be executed for the taint of her sorcery.
When the worst happens to her people and the empire, it's Zehra and her visions standing between them and utter destruction.
